How often must I wear my aligner?
You should wear your aligner up to 22 hours daily. You remove them for eating, drinking, and regular oral hygiene
Are there any restrictions to what I can eat while in treatment?
No, unlike regular braces, you may eat or drink whatever you like as long as you remove your aligners. Prior to placing the retainers brush your teeth and aligners beforehand.
Is there any discomfort with Invisalign Treatment?
The first day or two after initial insertion of your aligner there will be some pressure. This is an indication that your aligners are moving your teeth sequentially into their final position.
Will the aligners affect my speech?
Like any orthodontic treatment with braces or invisalign there is short adjustment period. The more you speak with the aligners the shorter the adjustment period usually around two weeks.
How often do I see the orthodontist?
Regular office visits are every four to eight weeks. This will ensure your treatment is progressing as planned.
How long does Invisalign treatment take?
Treatment time varies depending the severity of misaligned teeth but often treatment can be shorter than traditional braces ranging from six to 18 months.
