Invisalign straightens your teeth through a series of clear, custom-molded retainers without the need for bands, brackets, and wires. With each aligner your teeth will move, little by little, over time until they reach the final position your orthodontist has prescribed. Since the aligners are removable, you will be able to eat, drink, floss, and brush as usual.
Typical invisalign cases take about one year to treat. Each aligner is worn for about two weeks and commonly the number of aligners is between 18 and 30. The actual number of aligners does vary from case to case. Our orthodontist is more than happy to discuss the length of treatment with you.
Invisalign aligners are clear and when placed in the mouth usually go undetected. As you can see in the top left picture, it is difficult to even notice the aligner.
